Research: Targeting heart failure | Preclinical research | Cell-based therapies

​

I am focusing on novel cell-based therapies to tackle the high morbidity and mortality associated with heart failure. We have special interest in using cardiac microtissues to mediate cardiac repair and improve cardiac function in the post-ischemic myocardium. To accomplish this, I primarily carry out preclinical research. In addition to this, I organize several events as a Young@Heart ambassador.
