MARIJN PETERS, MSC.
PhD Candidate
Regenerative medicine | hiPSC-cardiomyocytes | Hydrogel-mediated delivery
My research focus is the use of proteins, small molecules and miRNA therapeutics to mediate cardiac repair. To study this, I primarily work with human in vitro systems including hiPSC-cardiomyocytes, hiPSC-fibroblasts and cardiac progenitor cells. Furthermore, I focus on the implementation of regenerative tools in combination with biomaterials and minimally invasive approaches.
